About The Prince's Trust

At the Prince's Trust we believe that every young person should have the chance to succeed. Our mission is to help disadvantaged young people in Scotland to change their lives and get back into education, find a job or start a business.

Youth unemployment is a devastating issue for the young people and communities affected. However, putting an end to youth unemployment is possible. The Prince's Trust in Scotland helps thousands of young people every year to achieve the success and future they deserve. By supporting them get back into education, find jobs and start their own businesses, we will continue to work with young people until we are no longer needed, helping them realise what they are capable of and supporting them to achieve it. We work hard to ensure they don't just have a job, but a future they can look forward to.

In Scotland, around 67,000 young people are unemployed. That's one fifth of all young people aged 16 - 24 in this country who don't have the skills, confidence/ self-belief, experience or opportunity to fulfil their potential. Solutions are available and our programmes achieve real results so we have a responsibility to act. Three in four young people supported by us go onto successful futures by moving into education, work or self employment.
