Gold Bag Challenge

In 2016, to celebrate 40 years of The Prince's Trust, we introduced the Old Bags Gold Bag Challenge!

As everyone who's been to Lunch with an Old Bag will know, we are incredibly fortunate to have the fabulous support of so many generous (and glamorous!) ladies, as well as some extremely brave and generous men. Without them, LWOB simply would not be the success it is, and it's entirely down to them that, in our first eight years, we've raised £2,984,350, helping The Prince's Trust to transform 2,984 young lives in Scotland.

Many of those wonderful ladies and gents have asked us whether there's anything else they can do to support LWOB, and whether they can help throughout the year, as well as on the day itself.

In response, we launched the Gold Bag Challenge. Will YOU be one of our exclusive Gold Bags?! Could you even be one of the three 2017 Gold Bag Challenge winners? Go on, give it a shot!!

So, what does it involve?

It's simple. Old Bags signing up for the challenge will have until August to raise as much as they can for LWOB (and to have as much fun as possible doing so!)  Every £1,000 they raise will transform a young life.

From April onwards all participants who sign up will receive a gold envelope which will be your fundraising pack.  All participants will also receive a special Gold Bag award and there will be 3 prize categories for Gold Bag Challenge participants.  These will be announced and the 3 fantastic prizes will be presented at LWOB in September.  Prize categories:

    1. The Old Bag who raises the most money
    2. The Old Bag who comes up with the most creative fundraising idea.
    3. Everyone who takes part in the Challenge will be entered into a draw for the 3rd prize

How you raise money is entirely up to you. Perhaps running a 5K or a marathon, doing a bungee jump or hosting a barbecue, coffee morning, or bake-off. Perhaps a "£ on the bill" promotion in your business. Or anything else creative that will generate cash.

Good Luck! And Thanks a Million!
